whales live all their lives in the ocean. but they are more like land animals than fish like land animals, whales have lungs they breath through openings on the tops of their heads. these are colled  blowhoies. these holes are like our nose openings or nostrils. whales are unable to breathe underwater. lake  land animals they have legs. but these are shaped like flippers.though wholes are so huge many of them eat small fish or shrimp..
